Canister : Dan buoy + 1 drogue + 1 water-activated light + ??.
Composed of 2 different elements :
- holder fixed on the boat`s pushpit.
- ABS plastic canister containing the IOR Dan buoy or horseshoe buoy.
The canister is attached to the holder by a lanyard.
In the event of a man overboard throw the canister towards the victim.
Deployment will occur when lanyard is fully tensioned.
Dan buoy : Yellow nylon polyurethane coated
Height above water Dan buoy inflated : 1.80 m

Dan buoy is weighted and equipped with :
- 1 drogue
- 1 water-activated light
- 1 red and yellow flag (30 x 14 cm)
- retro-reflective tapes
