EasyAIS 2 (Automatic Identification System) AIS (Automatic Identification System) is a new international safety standard that will aid collision avoidance for all sizes of vessel. With EasyAIS commercial vessels will show up, not just on the radar, but also on the chart plotter or PC running navigational software. The Easy AIS is a black box to plug into (AIS) enabled chart plotters which will then allow them to display vessels outputting an AIS signal. Advantages of EasyAIS – - 2 Channel receiver
